Your Career

Palo Alto Networks is continuing building a world class finance organization and is looking for a top notch Senior FP&A Analyst that is highly talented and result driven to join the team.

The position requires a well-rounded individual who has demonstrated the ability to deliver results in a high growth environment and strong business knowledge and business acumen in the area of Sales. This person will be responsible for providing financial and analytical support to the Sales organization mainly focusing on our Firewall (FW) and Cloud-Delivered Security Services (CDSS) business as well as on Ecosystems programs across EMEA & LATAM Theater.

Your Impact

  • Ad hoc and regular analyses of FW/CDSS business to drive high corporate performance and to assist with executive decision making

  • Provide to sales leaders insightful data and analytics to make sound business decisions

  • Support Theater top line budgeting, forecasting and long term financial planning activities

  • Leverage strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to take apart business problems and build solutions

  • Responsible for forecasting Ecosystems Programs spend ensuring data visibility and accuracy (includes monthly/quarterly budget vs. actual analysis and accounting accrual process to provide better visibility into and control over spend)

  • Communicate effectively with sales leaders to build relationships and present actionable and insightful recommendations through data analysis

  • Collaborate cross-functionally (e.g. Platforms Go To Market finance, Central Sales finance, Sales Ops, Strategy, etc) to continually improve metrics alignment, consistency, data integrity, and automation

Your Experience

  • 5+ years related experience in a FP&A function + BA/BS in finance and Record of strong advancement and achievement or equivalent military experience required

  • 2+ years of experience supporting a high-technology Sales, Marketing, or Business/Corporate Development organization required

  • Advanced excel/gsheet skills with the ability to analyze large amounts of data and maintain complex financial models

  • Strong business and analytical skills

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Strong relationship building, communication, and presentation skills

  • Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced and continually evolving environment

  • Experience and expertise in utilization of CRM, Planning and ERP systems such as Salesforce.com, Anaplan, SAC, SAP as well as SQL programming
